Mechanical engineering components are often subjected to high friction, high sliding and poor lubrication conditions. These harsh conditions lead to accelerated wear of components, which in turn reduces service life and efficiency. Our Ta-C films are considered to be the most effective surface solution due to their excellent high hardness and low coefficient of friction properties, which can solve the pain points of components that are prone to wear and tear in applications such as gear roller bearings, pumps, compressors, linear guides, ball screw drives, collet chucks, worm gears, textile machines, and so on. As shown in the figure below, the friction surface of the bearing is covered with a Ta-C film, the extremely low coefficient of friction of the film will give the bearing "oil-free lubrication" properties, reducing friction loss and extending the life of the bearing.
